Your holiday apartment at the foot of the Engelberg Mountain

Your holiday apartment is situated in one of Engelberg’s sunniest and quietest neighbourhoods at the foot of the Engelberg Mountain. From your apartment you will reach the beautiful Benedictine monastery and the village in only 15 minutes by foot or if you prefer taking your car in less than 5 minutes.
The nearby Klostermatte slope for beginners and the brand new cable car to the sunny Brunni-Ristis slopes for more advanced skiers are within walking distance (about 500 m). If you prefer the fancier slopes of the Titlis-Jochpass area just take the free bus service and enjoy a wonderful day on our snow-covered glacier.
In summer your children will enjoy the famous Grotzenwäldli playground where a shallow little lake with fleets, a suspension bridge and fire places invite you to embark on a wonderful journey. Kids just love it!
People who like walking will find many trails some of which pass by our house. There is for example the trail to Herrenrüti where Restaurant Alpenrösli serves the best Swiss Rösti (Swiss hash brown). After your early lunch or late breakfast at Alpenrösli you can continue your hike and mount to Surenenpass and descend to Attinghausen and the neighbouring valley. Another trail that starts at our house is the Zieblenalp-Dagenstall-Fürenalp trail. If you love to hike off the beaten track, this is the perfect day trip for you! Of course, there are many more hikes and trails some of which are wheelchair or pushchair accessible.
